FITC Football Camps Our FITC Football Camps provide boys and girls of all abilities with an exciting, fun-filled football experience during the school holidays. Whether your child is new to football or already plays regularly, our camps offer the perfect environment to learn new skills, make friends and enjoy the game. Each day is delivered by our highly qualified, DBS-checked academy coaches and is carefully planned to combine professional coaching, exciting games and plenty of football in a safe, positive and enjoyable environment. A Day at Camp Warm-Up & Ball Mastery Once all the players have arrived, we begin the day with a football-specific warm-up combined with ball mastery and activation drills. This prepares players both physically and mentally for an exciting day of football whilst ensuring every child gets plenty of touches on the ball from the very start. Technical Coaching Throughout the day, our academy coaches deliver professionally designed coaching sessions that focus on developing football skills in a fun and engaging way. Players will learn through a variety of: *Technical practices *Skill challenges *Competitions *Small-sided games *Fun football activities Our sessions are designed to challenge every player while ensuring learning remains enjoyable and suitable for all ability levels. Matches & Tournaments Players are grouped according to age and physical development, whilst also taking friendship groups into consideration wherever possible. Throughout the day, children compete in exciting round-robin tournaments where they can put their newly developed skills into practice. Bonus points, teamwork and sportsmanship are rewarded, creating a fun and competitive environment for everyone. What We Coach Across the camp, players will develop a wide range of football techniques and game understanding, including: *Ball manipulation *Dribbling *Turning *Skills and tricks *Running with the ball *Passing *First touch *Shooting *1v1 attacking and defending *Goalkeeping *Decision making *Match play Our aim is to improve every player's confidence both in and out of possession whilst ensuring they enjoy every minute of their football experience. Fun Activities Alongside our coaching sessions, children will enjoy a variety of exciting football challenges throughout the camp, including: *Football Tennis *Kick Up Challenge *Crossbar Challenge *Shooting Competitions *Player-themed Challenges (such as Mbappe and Haaland Challenges) *Team Competitions and Mini Games These activities help develop football skills whilst creating a fun and memorable experience for every child. Prizes & Awards Every player attending a FITC Camp will receive: *A FITC Development Certificate *A Participation Medal Throughout the camp there will also be opportunities to win: *Player of the Camp Trophies *Skill Challenge Winners *Competition Prizes *Special Coach Awards We believe recognising effort, improvement, teamwork and positive attitude helps every child leave camp feeling proud of their achievements. What to Wear Children should attend wearing suitable football clothing and footwear appropriate for the playing surface and weather conditions. Players should wear: *Football boots or astro trainers suitable for the venue. *Shin pads (mandatory). *Comfortable sports clothing. *Weather-appropriate clothing, including waterproofs if required. *Sun cream should be applied before arrival on warm days, as FITC coaches are unable to apply sun cream. All jewellery must be removed before participation for safety reasons. What to Bring Please ensure your child brings: *A clearly named water bottle. *A packed lunch. *Healthy snacks for break times. *Any essential medication (e.g. inhaler or EpiPen), with coaches informed before the session. *Suitable clothing for the weather conditions. Please avoid bringing valuables, as FITC Academy cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged items. Drop-Off & Collection Parents/carers are responsible for signing their child in and out each day. Children should only be collected by an authorised adult named on the booking. If collection arrangements change, please notify a member of the coaching team before the end of the day. For safeguarding reasons, children must not leave the venue unaccompanied unless prior written permission has been provided. FITC Academy Player Pathway FITC Camps provide an excellent opportunity for our academy coaches to get to know players in a fun and relaxed environment. Throughout the camps, our coaches continually observe players as part of their normal coaching sessions. If a player demonstrates the attitude, ability and potential to progress further, they may be invited to attend a trial with FITC Academy. Our camps are designed to be enjoyable for every child whilst also offering aspiring players the opportunity to take the next step in their football journey. Payment & Refund Policy *All payments must be made prior to your child's first day at camp. *We only accept payments via the online booking system and cash. *Only cancellations made before your child's first booked day will be eligible for a refund. *No refunds or credits will be issued for non-attendance. *If FITC Academy cancels a camp day for any reason, a full refund or alternative day will be offered. Camp Information

On arrival, there is plenty of parking available.

Players should bring:

-A packed lunch
-Plenty of drinks/water to stay hydrated throughout the day
-Appropriate clothing for the weather conditions

All players must wear shin pads and suitable football footwear, depending on the playing surface.

In hot or sunny conditions, parents/guardians should ensure players have sun cream applied before arriving at camp and bring additional sun cream with them where appropriate.

Please ensure players arrive well prepared and suitably dressed so they can enjoy the day safely and comfortably.
